Lineup Card: 6-6-11 Rockies @ Padres

If you're looking for Rockies game lineups and you don't feel like searching all over Twitter or waiting for MLB.com to post them, check back to Heaven & Helton about 60-90 minutes before first pitch. They should be here waiting for you.

Yesterday's recrap: Was yesterday's score a misprint?

Lineups

Colorado Rockies (27-31)
  1. CF Carlos Gonzalez
  2. 2B Chris Nelson
  3. 1B Todd Helton
  4. SS Troy Tulowitzki
  5. 3B Ty Wigginton
  6. LF Ryan Spilborghs
  7. RF Seth Smith
  8. C   Chris Iannetta
  9. P   Clayton Mortensen
That's not a misprint. Jim Tracy has finally waived his "CarGo can't play CF" rule. He's also moved him into the lead-off position, which is probably the last place you'd want to put a guy that's showing no patience. Maybe he's hoping he'll be forced to develop some hitting there. We shall see. Helton hitting third is well deserved for him, but I can't say I'm overwhelmingly optimistic about these changes.

The Rockies will play a man down as no move on Dexter Fowler has been made but he's still too sore to play.

San Diego Padres (27-33)
  1. CF Chris Denorfia
  2. SS Jason Bartlett
  3. 3B Chase Headley
  4. LF Ryan Ludwick
  5. RF Brad Hawpe
  6. 1B Jorge Cantu
  7. 3B Alberto Gonzalez
  8. C   Kyle Phillips
  9. P   Clayton Richard
