#1 -- I demand the pitchers throw strikes tonight.
#2 -- I demand the defense make a play on every ball hit in their direction.
#3 -- I demand Jorge De La Rosa last into the 7th inning.
#4 -- I demand Nationals starter Scott Olsen doesn't make it to the 5th.
#5 -- I demand Ryan Spilborghs starts.
#6 -- I demand at least two stolen base or hit-and-run attempts offensively.
#7 -- I demand Jim Tracy gets ejected if they get hosed on one more call at first base.
#8 -- I demand Franklin Morales pitch the 9th inning.
#9 -- I just flat demand better baseball.
#10 -- I also demand a victory.
Am I demanding too much? I guess we'll see in a few hours.
My Lineup Card
CF Fowler
LF Spilbroghs
1B Helton
SS Tulowitzki
RF Hawpe
C Iannetta
3B Stewart
2B Barmes
P De La Rosa
Simulation
Nationals 3, Rockies 2
Looked a lot like last night's real game. Offense made a starting pitcher (Olsen) look better than he is. De La Rosa walked a couple guys at the wrong time. Ryan Zimmerman hits a 2-run triple to grab a 3-2 lead. Scoring ends in the 5th. Matt Capps pitches a perfect ninth for the save.
Hopefully tonight's real game looks a lot like yesterday's simulated game!
