Hits & Misses: Spring Training Game 2

Hits

Carlos Gonzalez and Jonathan Herrera each had a pair of hits.  That's about the extent of the excitement in this one.

Misses

Jeff Francis

Not much positive to take away from this for Jeff other than he appears to have remained healthy.  I'm not worried yet, obviously, but I'm honestly not counting on Jeff to be real good this season.  I'm very hopeful that he will be, but I'm not counting on it.  Hopefully he can bounce back next time out to at least get some confidence going.  That's the first step he needs to take towards being useful.

Esmil Rogers

The command was pretty brutal.  He was also taken deep by Benjie Molina.  It's a special arm that needs a ton more seasoning.

Eric Young Jr.

1-for-5 with a popup and a couple strikeouts.  I point that out because Young needs to put in on the ground to be effective.  Not a major deal.
